2-Seed Bruins Prepare for Battle

WEB: The official website of UCLA Women's Basketball

The UCLA Bruins women's basketball team's 2023 season came to an end Sunday in the Sweet Sixteen as they fell to the LSU Tigers, 78-69. The Bruins, a 2-seed in the tournament, were led by Charisma Osborne's 22 points. However, it wasn't enough to overcome the Tigers' balanced scoring attack.

The Tigers were led by Alexis Morris' 18 points. Khayla Pointer and Hannah Gusters each added 15 points for LSU. The Bruins were within striking distance for most of the game, but they could never quite catch up to the Tigers.

The loss is a disappointing end to a season that saw the Bruins win the Pac-12 regular season championship. However, the Bruins can hold their heads high, knowing that they had a successful season.
