Bayern Miss Out on 1999 Final
Real Madrid continued their dominance over Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League, defeating them 2-0 in the semifinals in 2000. The loss marked another bitter disappointment for Bayern, who had also lost to Manchester United in the 1999 final after leading nearly the entire match.
