The Dallas Mavericks will travel to Madrid, Spain, to take on Real Madrid in a preseason game on Oct. 10, the team announced Tuesday.
Tickets for the game will go on general sale Thursday, Aug. 17 at 10 a.m. CT and can be purchased through the WiZink Center website.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2016, when Real Madrid defeated the Mavericks 101-93 in a preseason game in Dallas.
The Mavericks are coming off a disappointing season in which they finished 52-30 and lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Golden State Warriors.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, is one of the most successful clubs in European basketball, having won the EuroLeague a record 10 times.
The game will be a good test for the Mavericks as they prepare for the upcoming season.
It will also be a chance for fans to see some of the team's new players, including Kyrie Irving and Markieff Morris.
