Simone Inzaghi Unfazed by Genoa Challenge
Inter Milan will begin their Serie A title defence without key players Stefan de Vrij and Piotr Zielinski, but coach Simone Inzaghi is confident his team can start the season strongly against Genoa.
De Vrij and Zielinski are both injured, so Inzaghi will have to make changes to his starting line-up for the match at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
However, the Italian coach is confident that his team has the quality to overcome the absence of two key players.
Inzaghi will likely turn to Alessandro Bastoni and Francesco Acerbi to replace De Vrij in central defence, while Hakan Calhanoglu could come into the midfield to replace Zielinski.
Inzaghi is confident that his team can start the season strongly, despite the absence of De Vrij and Zielinski.
He said: "We have a strong squad, and we are confident that we can start the season well, even without Stefan and Piotr.
"We have a lot of quality in the team, and we are ready for the challenge."
